The Taste of Indian Cuisine

Indian cuisine is known for its capability to meet and satisfy the senses. The distinguishing factor of Indian food is the presentation of the food, generally placed on a colorful cloth called a turban. The use of turban materials not only gives the food its distinctive look, but also lends it the aroma of the spices and herbs used in its preparation.

The staple of Indian food is wheat which they successfully cultivate throughout the year. Wheat is used in various forms, called urad-e-aam, which is the coarse flour based on wheat. Rice is another important component of Indian diet. They also use rice in different forms, called chana masala, in the form of rice, and dal. Another important ingredient of Indian food is gram, which is usually cultivated by the richer classes.

The main cereals are basmati, which are popularly used in India as well as in the West. These are low in protein and rich in vitamins. The popular Indian tea called ‘bart” is prepared from the seed of the gram plant. In India the food is traditionally cooked in a banana leaf. Indian food is mostly sweet, and lamb is lamb meat. They also use chili peppers and coconut for cooking. These ingredients are very much in demand in the West as they are considered as tasty and as an interesting way to lose weight. Less fatty ingredients are mixed with these main courses.

The main food of India is chicken, which they eat both in the day time and at night. Chicken is considered to be a God’s gift to human beings. There are millions of chicken farms in India. They are cultivated mainly in the five major cities of India- Delhi, No. 9, Ranchi, Surat, Himachal Pradesh, and West Bengal.

Chinese food

The cuisine of China is a combination of different styles of cooking. The foods are generally considered to be very easy to cook and not complicated. Chinese food is usually cooked with low fat. The secret behind the cooking methods of Chinese food is freshness. Generally, Chinese food is prepared in less oil and less meat. Rice is the main carbohydrate in Chinese food. However, in the past, there were also other carbohydrates, such as wheat, barley, and corn. They are also cooked with noodles and tofu. Noodles are often served as an ingredient to flavor the food. They are often prepared with different vegetables.

Thai food

Thai food uses mainly six types of ingredients, including t grandfather , lime juice, garlic, lemongrass, galangal, and coriander. Thai food is considered to be one of the most delicious Asian cuisines and it is now widely available in the world.

Japanese food

Japanese recipes are unique and sophisticated. Usually, Japanese food is offered in unique style and it is very different from the usual eating habits of other Asians. Japanese prefer savory food and they prepare it with their own personal touch. Japanese have big influence of using Isan as the main oil in cooking. Isan is a distinctive oil that can be used in both cooking and dressing their foods.

Korean food

Korean food mainly comprises of barbecue, soup, tea and noodles. The main ingredient of Korean food is pine nuts and use them as the main ingredient in their food. The Askoldon is the most common type of Kimchi in Korea and is the most popular as well. Sometimes, Korean restaurants in US will substitute Isan for Kimchi in their dishes.

Japanese food is well known for its sushi and sashimi. Japanese originally used bamboo as the materials in preparing sushi and sashimi. But nowadays, the trend of preparing sushi and sashimi has changed and have become popularized in the USA. Asian-style sushi and sashimi have become popular in the USA.

Japanese food is well liked in almost all parts of the world and can be found in various types of restaurants in almost every part of the globe. It is an elegant food which contains mainly rice and soup as the main ingredients. The main spice in Japanese food is soodel, which is widely used in preparing Japanese food. Rice is a very common ingredient in both preparing and eating Japanese food. They offer their food with chopsticks and eat it with chopsticks as well.

Korean food is another Asian food that is liked and loved in almost all parts of the world. Koreans eat their food with rice, soup and garlic installed on stir-fried wonton skins.

Vietnamese food is a unique food that is liked and savored in nearly every part of the world.Vietnamese food is an Asian food that was borrowed from China and India. Vietnam cuisine is a mixture of Chinese and other Asian cooking styles. A typical meal can be found with curries, noodles, rice and other dishes.
