Search Engine Optimization is the process of getting your website higher in the organic rankings by search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc. The goal is to be on the first page results for specific keywords or keyword phrases that you are targeting. SEO is not a one-time event but an ongoing practice. And the primary motive of SEO is to drive targeted traffic to your website by allowing your site to rank higher in the organic search engine results.

Now let me share with you 5 SEO techniques, techniques and way of successful internet marketing that I have learned in my years of experience.

1. Content is king. Relevant content is love. Make sure to have your targeted keywords well emerging on your page. These keywords are a vital factor to help search engines in indexing and rank your website. However you do not want to stuff your content with excessive keywords. Make your content rich in quality but natural. Remember that Google loves natural and relevant content. So create good and reliable content if you want to succeed in internet marketing.
2. Create a Site Map. I have seen many websites that administration their pages from top to bottom and leave their sitemap on the homepage. It is very important to have a site map on your website.Site map is usually a table of contents of your website. With a site map search engines can navigate easily on your website. My advice is that you create a site map and link it to every page of your website. Do not forget to have a link to the site map on your home page.
3. For your keywords, choose only the targeted ones. Do not choose keywords on just because they have traffic volume but because they help in improving your search engine ranking.
4. For your keyword, also use quotation marks. If it is a keyword that you are targeting on your homepage, then place your whole keyword in quotation marks like this: “Your Keyword here”. By doing this you will make your keyword flow like this: “Your Keyword here” instead of “Your Keyword (your location or country name)”.
5. Put your heading in H1 tag. If you want success in your SEO campaign, put your heading on H1 tag. Search engines consider content under the H1 tag as important.
6. If you are putting a lot of content on your website, then you should do a minimum of 10% fresh and unique content to your website every day. Search Engines love content; it is like fresh food for search engine robots. Copy Writing and Articles are favorite to increase the popularity of your website but remember that it should be meaningful, not just keyword stuffed.
7. Inbound links are very important for your website. It is so because inbound links implies that other websites find your website important and they want to deliver good info about your website to their visitors. Try to find out the page rank of your website’s competitors link to your websites, and try to get them link to your website.
8. Create a error free HTML code and try to remove the error codes. To make your website search friendly, you should have a HTML error free code.
9. Your website should have a useful sitemap. Simply create a sitemap and link it to all your pages. If your website is too large, then you can just use HTML duplicates to link to individual page within your website.
10. Force session required scripts to function properly. For example: Your site uses Javascript; many visitors see a message asking them to activate the script before accessing your pages. If your site does not contain this script then some visitors may not get prompt to activate the script then it is considered as a site maintenance access. This can cause duplicate content as the site contains both the script and the active site navigation. There are also some sites that necessary session to script issue.
11. You can ask your webmasters to use your keywords in the Anchor Text when you are linking to another site.
12. Make readers access to important areas of your site automatically by using text links that are easy to read. People tend to click on picture links more than text links. For smaller magnifications, big buttons are better.
13. Learn about search engine optimization. It is very important for your site to be ranked well on the search engines. Optimize your Meta tags and web description to get higher rankings.
14. Use web analytics to track your traffic. Sites like Google Analytics use special code that you must get to work with it.
