Finding the best supplements is something that a lot of people want to do. Even the FDA recognizes the importance of getting the right nutrients into our bodies. This is why they are requiring that so many foods are enriched with different nutrients. Even a basic multivitamin is something that we should be taking everyday.
The problem with facts is that many have been screaming about different products all the while, but finding the right one that fits your body can be quite a challenge. This is why I wrote this article, telling you the things that I have noticed about different supplements. If you want to take better care of your body, then you should read this article.

Here are just a few things that I have noticed with different supplements:
- Vitamin D is very important. Studies have shown that people with a sufficient intake of this nutrient have better bone density. This allows them to improve their overall bone health. As I am not a person that naturally has high levels of Vitamin D, I find that taking a Vitamin D supplement is a wise move.* Protein powders are also important as we do not get enough protein from our diets, even if we eat large amounts of fish. A protein supplement is a great way to increase your daily intake of protein. If you are trying to get more protein then you should also take creatine.* Enzymes are important as they help your digestive system break down the food you consume. If you consume a lot of raw foods without the use of digestive enzymes you are going to get very large amounts of fat from those foods.
2) Vitamin K2 is the form of vitamin K that is used in the body. Most people do not even have enough vitamin K in their diets, so this form of vitamin K is very important as it allows you to absorb the calcium in your diet. When you are deficient in vitamin K your arteries will become tougher and more irritated. This vitamin is known for its antioxidant affect as well. It will help to repair cells that have been damaged during cancer treatment. It will also help to protect your bones from calcification.
3) Essential Fatty Acids are pretty much the body’s way of telling you that it is full of essential nutrients. These were discovered when research was done into why Eskimo’s had such low rates of heart disease when they had a diet high in fatty foods. The research discovered that the reason for the lower rate of heart disease was because the Eskimo’s ate fish and additional nutrients in their diet.
4) Turmeric is a popular spice that is used in a lot of Asian countries. It is a plant that belongs to the ginger family. Several studies were done on this and it was discovered that the active ingredient in turmeric was curcumin. This ingredient has been shown to have antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. This is especially good for helping with sunburn.
5) Manganese is another trace mineral that is very important to the body. It is needed to help the body process co-enzyme Q10. Turmeric has a the highest natural level of manganese as it is stored in the root of the Turmeric plant.
6) Chromium is a mineral that is required by the body for the metabolism of both carbs and protein. It is also needed to make hormones and enzymes. A low level of chromium can lead to insulin resistance which is a precursor to diabetes.
7) Potassium is another mineral that is required by the body for muscle contraction and nerve impulse transmission.
