“What is Affiliate Marketing? If you own a website or a blog you will realize that there are some real challenges to making money online. Almost everyone who is looking to start a work from home business or find a way to supplement their present income will eventually come across the term Affiliate Marketing. It is this term that we will be focusing on here.

Affiliate Marketing is essentially being a sales rep for a company and actually being paid on a commission basis. Let’s say for example, you have a website that is complimented by a few Google ads. This will release the affiliate streams that are already running on your website and will create more Affiliate Profits. The Affiliate Network will assist you in setting up your campaign the way you want to. They will optimize the ads on your website according to your specifications.

Unfortunately, the Networks look after all the needs of the Affiliate and will deal with all your questions about AdWords, keywords, conversion rates etc. The Affiliate Network handles the entire sales process and knows exactly how to make money. You will concentrate on developing your website and finding the best locations to place your ads.

It is obviously very easy to join an Affiliate Network and an Internet Marketer can very simply register for an account.once the Network approves your application they will assist you with the signing up process.

You will be required to submit some basic information about yourself such as your name, address, website url and tax identification number. They will constantly send you newsletters and quick startup tips.
