Almost one in three adults within the United States and world today currently suffers from chronic joint symptoms, also known as arthritis. Arthritis is a term that describes many different conditions caused by the inflammation of moving joints, it also encompasses nearly 300 different diseases or it can be a symptom of any other associated disease.
Arthritis is almost always linked to an auto-immune disorder, which means that the immune system of the individual is attacking that of another person. Types of arthritis include rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, lupus, and juvenile arthritis. There are more than 100 different varieties of arthritis, and there are nearly 40 different varieties of these arthritis. They basically all affect the same joints, and the symptoms for the different varieties only relates to that joints.
Many individuals that have arthritis do not realize that it can strike any one at any given time, let alone over a period of time. arthritis can be quiet prevalent in many individuals, and may go undiagnosed for weeks, months or even years. Many times there is no pain involved, but it steadily increases to cause stiffness, inflammation, and swelling. When arthritis is more acute, there is also inflammation of other organs that are related to the joints, resulting in organ or tissue damage.
Arthritis is a condition that lasts only as long as it takes to treat it, which means that it is possible to “undiagnosed” arthritis as we speak of it (this is a technical term for avoiding arthritis as an individual). Arthritis is now considered the leading cause of disability and the statistics show that women suffer half of all arthritic related disability and disability.
There are two forms of arthritis, type I – the rapid type and the chronic one. The chronic one, which is also known as the juvenile arthritis is usually caused by repeated trauma, injury or overuse, which seems to also include women. The rapid type is usually caused by injury, which may be related to some sort of joint trauma. The second type is a lot more common and can be caused by aging.
Many instances of arthritis, especially the chronic one can be treated, though there are also many difficulties that arise from having arthritis. Not all ailments can be cured and if the electric curable (as used to describe skeletal or joint inflammation) arthritis is allowed to progress untreated, it can lead to the establishment of arthritis which is permanent.
Diagnosis itself can be very difficult to achieve, as the symptoms of the arthritis often are not easily described. The most common sign of arthritis is usually the reduction of movement, usually as a loss of flexibility in joints. All of this makes it very difficult to diagnose arthritis in a person, as the symptoms may be barely noticeable. If you are having problems moving and the “pain” usually is localized to a certain joint, there is a good chance you may have arthritis.
Arthritis is a complex disease, and diagnosis will often be based on the history, physical examination and your own specialized medical history. Arthritis is a disease that requires many different kinds of treatments, and if your doctor is unsure if you have arthritis or not, it is a good idea to refer to your own doctor for confirmation. All of the joints in your body are accessible to arthritis, although they may not be the affected ones.
There are many different treatments for arthritis, and these may be broken down based on the kind of arthritis and where it is located. Some forms of arthritis will respond to and are temporarily relieved by anti-inflammatory medication. Most forms of arthritis will require arthritis medications that work in some sort of reminder system to take care of the arthritis.

- Stress can also play a large Roll in your developing arthritis. Having a stressful lifestyle doesn’t help, and it may actually play a detrimental role in your arthritis.
- Acid forming foods such as citrus and tomatoes can also be troublesome in the developing arthritis.
- And once again, over indulgence in any sort of foods can be harmful to your developing arthritis.
