There are two main ways to get visitors from the search engines: organic search results and paying for pay-per-click (PPC) advertising.

It starts when you create your website and necessity the fact that, before people can find your business, they must be able to find you first. Technically, this is called search engine visibility. Update or write blog posts daily if possible as search engines continually shift their algorithms (rules) and focus to fresh content. If you are using a blog hosted on your own domain, this will take care of this problem in the good old days. Before you know it, people will be looking for what you are selling and offering.
Take care of this one step at a time as there are many aspects to consider. If you are already writing articles, this one technique will work for you but if you are new to it, you may want to consider writing a series of articles that you can submit to various article directories. There are many different directories. I suggest you submit your articles to the top ranked article directories as I mentioned before.
Take a moment to write an article on a specific topic. Something that will inspire people and perhaps you will start to get some clicks to your site. Once you submit the article and it is published, your prospects will be able to find your article. Later on, they will also be able to click on your link that is in the resource box.
I always encourage my clients to write and submit at least one article to an article directory. Submitting one article can put you in the top five rankings for as many keywords and phases that you are targeting. This should be done! Remember to submit your article to as many article directories as possible. If you submit to only the top directories, it is possible that your article will not be published. Remember that when you submit to article directories, publishers go through the material on your article. If your article has good content, they will probably include your resource box. This is what is called a “resource box”. It contains a link (your website URL) to your website. Therefore, the more article directories you submit to, the more potential links you can get back to your website.
If possible, I also recommend that you submit your articles to ezines, publishers ezines. They are free and will expose your writing and brand to a totally different audience.
