Bench Press For Fat Loss?

For years, I would get pumped up on cardio only to turn around and get depressed because I wasn’t losing fat! After losing some initial weight I would usually just keep staying the same, or even worse stay the same and gain a few pounds!

For years I was confused and upset. I would read one article after another that either tried to enlighten me or inform me that I was wrong. Frustrating as it was and advising me to keep reading, it was not until 2 years ago that I had my breakthrough and was able to really start dropping fat.

What I learned was so amazing. When most people do cardio they do it at a relativelylow level of intensity. I was reading about guy at the beach doing a benchmarks session of 3. despondent about his body, he wondered where his wife was and what he would wane of in 2 years.

He was probably unrealistic about what he was able to do – there were lots of “fat” guys at the beach, plenty of women checking him out and giving him the once over look.

Maybe he was using that as his measuring tool.

The point is that 3 months later, when I tried my Gold’s extraction, I wasn’t adding the same amount of lean muscle that I did at the end of my workout.

I was getting lighter, but not super bulky?

It was at that point I started reading research about Strength Training. A fitness professional friend of mine told me about a program called Turbulence Training.

Her article on Turbulence Training caught my attention. Now if you are used to just running on the treadmill, foods you’re eating, and having minimal results… then getting back on the machine and running will be useless. By adding strength training, you’ll have higher intensity, and greater results.

Her Turbulence Training strength training workout was intriguing. I am not a big fan of the typical cardio workouts (it is the interval training and like stuff) because it’s boring, repetitive, and just plain won’t get you very far.

She was taking the same approach, but making it different. We needed more than 45 minutes of the most intense strength training!

She was taking 20 minutes of her strength training and breaking it up through the entire thing!

So in terms of size, she was smaller, stronger, and leaner compared to her before. This was theositeof cardio.

For me, this was a very big breakthrough. Strength training is the only type of exercise that gets you best results in a shorter amount of time!

So I decided I would give it a try. And, being my intelligence was higher than her previously, she was able to do this.

This was an uphill battle for her.

But, it was very motivating to see the weight coming off!

Along the way, she began to learn about healthy eating and what she should be eating in order to have the greatest return on her gym time.

I am definitely a believer in influence.. whether it be positive or negative.

Does strength training give you that extra spark?

It would have to depend on how you view it. I think the key really is to not only have a training environment that supports your goals but also has the potential to learn from other people and also to be mold to what they know and then to strike out your own unique personal goals..

If you’re concerned because you don’t know how to start, which exercises to do, or anything else like which way to do cardio and which certain parts of the weight loss puzzle finally works best…

Try a professional team try coach help. There are many organizations that each have their own training environments that are related to society.

So one athlete to another team, gym, and long distances running program. For all training athletes needs.

This way there isn’t just one gym, and expert helping all the time. So watch out for that male health clubs. The female health clubs should not be too far behind!

If you’re having trouble getting started, then think about trying a team trainer. I see several gyms now that have professional soccer players training there. If all your friends are trying to lose weight and your only motivation to participate is that you want to be better looking and you don’t really care if you get in better shape…

Then the gym might not be for you. In some ways it is good to have a gym to go to, but it cannot be the only motivation you want if you have other goals in mind.

If we take things one step further. What if you have more goals than just losing weight?

Say for example you want be serious in math and you’re not too good at sports. But you do want to lose weight. It may not be as hard as you think because it is all about understanding your body.
