The most under-threat industry by computerization is that of retail work. Many warehouses and stores are beginning to use robots in place of human workers, and this is sure to continue into the future. This shift may not be welcomed by many, but we can’t deny the fact that the world is changing and that technology will influence our lives on so many levels.

There’s no denying that artificial intelligence has already taken over a lot of what we used to consider as human jobs. In fact, an Oxford study estimated that 47% of the American workforce can be replaced by AI. Naturally, you may think this spells doom for the human race but it remains a possibility that this trend may reverse over time.

AI systems make human jobs obsolete. Both general knowledge and abilities such as programming and writing skills can be replaced by artificial technology without any decrease in the efficiency of their work. Every new technology means another job to be done. AI will produce new jobs for people, meaning companies and governments will have to pay less for jobs. As soon as there will be more free time, more people will want to spend their time on more leisure activities which will cause an increase in the demand for new jobs. And no one who is going to work is interested in working with machines. Especially with all the new free time in the world, nobody is going to want to waste his or her time at a job that already makes people redundant and stops them from making things and being creative.

AI has the ability to’read’ and understand a wide range of data and can translate that data into multiple, relevant, and useful results. Currently AI systems are mostly in the business of collecting data and then solving some technical problem. Now that can be solved by AI but it will be even more powerful if the AI algorithm can be able to use it for it self! When used in conjunction with any machine learning model (it can learn from past data) AI can take the huge amount of data into account and make better sense of it.

Without doubt, AI is a field of study that is dedicated to how humans use technology and algorithms to accomplish tasks that can’t be done by human mind alone. This field can be used for tasks like speech recognition, machine vision, generation of intelligence, etc. but one of the main problem with this field is that it can replace people and cause big issues. According to the founder of Google DeepMind who is the inventor of the neural network, we have no reason to believe that AI will replace humans. But still we should use advanced techniques like neural networks to make us think more intelligent and make it easier for humans to communicate with each other in the future.

AI is the way the human brain works today. We already have the knowledge of how things work and now we are using computers to do our jobs for us. This was once seen as a scary technology as a new order of things, but now that computers are getting faster every day we are starting to use it to create new skills and products. However I personally would rather have people than computers. This might seem weird and I know some people will think it is also scary but I think we have a right to have personal freedom and as long as they have natural emotions, they can do whatever they want with us. There is no right or wrong with regards to AI because if we are not using it for good it will not work out well for us.

A move by Google to integrate artificial intelligence into all aspects of their activities has quickly surpassed both the imaginations and achievements of their enemies. Artificial Intelligence and the realm it currently resides in has already passed a self-awareness threshold and some scientists are working to create human like AI.

The rapid advancement of technology and AI will continue and the question of how this will branch out is unclear.
